Engineering Services in the Area of Remote Handling

The scope of the services is related to engineering and prototyping (manufacturing) activities foreseen to be implemented over the duration of the framework contract to support the development of the various ITER remote handling systems related to the European in-kind procurement. When ITER is not in operation,specific maintenance activities are performed by remote handling systems that are able to cope with the ITER environmental conditions, in particular radiation due to nuclear activation.
